FOUNDERS STORY


SPÈ Candle was founded by Yvonne Duncan-Mandel and her advisory partner, Douglas Mandel, both of whom are luxury design professionals. Yvonne specializes in design and interiors, while Douglas brings extensive global experience in luxury brand management, having worked with LVMH, Christian Dior and Assouline - Art & culture books, fragrances, and objets d’art.

Yvonne and Douglas were the founders of Kamkyl Men’s Collection and a recipient of Gen Art Fashion award among many accolades.

At SPÈ Candle, each aroma is artisanally curated by Yvonne, whose deep passion for candle making is inspired by Scotland’s rich heritage. Here, candles have transformed from practical tools into luxurious lifestyle objects, capturing the emotional essence of celebrations, rituals, and romance.
