SPÈ Candle is a niche aroma candle company moved by nature, wildness and the botanicals of Scotland. Handcrafted in the beautiful Allte Arder valley, Speyside, Scotland.

Each aroma is artisanally curated by Scottish/Canadian candlemaker Yvonne Duncan-Mandel.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Each candle tells a story. Driven by the connection between the Fifth Sense of Olfactory - smell - to emotive memory, emotions and wellness, through the use of natural scents.

Our overarching commitment is first to wellness and sustainable living.

We use 100% natural ingredients and sustainably resourced luxury soy wax, cotton wicks and essential oils or naturally derived fragrances.

ABOUT US

Yvonne's fascination with candles goes back to the ancient craft and history of candle making in Scotland. Through time candles have evolved from functional objects to lifestyle driven objects. Candles carry with them a luxurious emotional quality connected to celebrations, rituals and romance.

SPÈ candles was founded by Yvonne and advisory partner Douglas Mandel. Both luxury design professionals; Yvonne specialises in design + interiors. Douglas is a senior luxury executive with global experience at LVMH, Chrisitan Dior and now specializes in luxury brand advisory management.

Yvonne + Douglas owned and designed the award winning Canadian KAMKYL Men's Collection + KAMKYL Urban Atelier, Montreal.
